Ryan was born and raised in Buda, Texas and has resided in the Austin area all of his life. Ryan practiced law in the Austin office of a large national law firm and at an Austin litigation boutique prior to becoming a founding member of Hohmann, Brophy & Shelton, PLLC, in 2015. He has litigated in state and federal courts throughout Texas and numerous other jurisdictions. Ryan has substantial experience on both sides of the docket in the area of business litigation. Ryan’s litigation experience includes representing clients in numerous types of civil lawsuits, including: contract and fraud, fiduciary duty, securities, directors and officer’s liability, professional malpractice, energy, insurance, personal injury, and unfair competition. In addition, Ryan has successfully defended high value theft of trade secret cases and breach of contract cases involving patent infringement issues. Ryan lives in Buda with his wife and two kids.
